The Gravana Tuning 2008 Chevrolet® Silverado® Project Vehicle was built in approximately 3 weeks. Without the support of the sponsors listed below, this truck would never had made it to SEMA! This project Silverado has been built street-friendly, yet completely off-road ready for the weekend warrior. For the exterior, we incorporate a custom Gravana vented and baffled hood for proper airflow and heat extraction, then add Bushwacker Paint-Matched Fender Flares. While these flares are functional, they also provide an aggressive look. The black chrome Carriageworks billet grill helps set-off the front and the Modern Image graphics get us noticed wherever we go! To ensure our safety and offer help to others in need, we will use a Road Armor front bumper with an integrated N-Fab front pre-runner light bar with triple KC Lights and an integrated Superwinch recovery system in front, and the N-Fab rear bumper bar with a billet Rapid Hitch. In order to make access simple, the Gravana Silverado has Bestop Powersteps with LED lights. We chose Line-X to coat the bed bottom, sides and rail tops, as well as the rear inner fender wells. On the inside, we use CG Locks to keep us planted in our seats off-road without needing harnesses. Our audio/video system is anchored by the OEM DVD/Navigation head unit, which allows us to retain complete factory controls, including those on the steering wheel, with Boston Acoustics speakers, amplifiers and subwoofers for the ultimate in quality sound. We top it off (literally) with Visualogic plug-n-play DVD-integrated headrest monitors. J&G Customs designed the custom, yet OEM looking rear sub box. Since the Silverado Duramax comes with significant performance from the factory, Gravana needed only a few modifications to make this the perfect daily driver with weekend power in reserve. We chose the Edge Juice With Attitude programmer, Airforce One Stainless Air Intake and Maganflow Cat-back Exhaust. Suspension was a no-brainer; we simply went with the best! Gravana chose the Bulletproof Suspensions 8-inch-lift combined with Fox Shox high performance remote reservoir shocks for optimum driving performance, comfort and clearance. For wheels, we use the Icce Wheels OTR chrome wheels in 22" with Toyo 37" Mud Tires. To round out the undercarriage, we chose the ORU polished rear differential cover.
