GRAVANA GTO RamAir Hood - Carbon Fiber 44% Lighter than Stock!

For the enthusiast who wants a Ram-Air style hood in carbon Fiber with clean lines that match the new GTO, Gravana has answered your call! The Gravana hood is authentic 3K, 2x2 Twill Carbon Fiber with real rolled edges, and features functional air vents and stainless steel grills inside and out. Each hood is created using an exclusive carbon-core process, and allowed to cure for a full 24 hours under vacuum. The aerospace inspired manufacturing method yields a hood that is three times stronger than the typical hand laid hood, while providing weight loss characteristics that are the best in the industry. In fact, the Gravana Hood is approximately 44% lighter than the stock hood. (25.3lbs vs. OEM 45lbs!!!) This hood is fully functional and retains OEM latch points, and incorporates billet aluminum hinge and mounting plates for added strength. This hood comes ready to install out of the box with no prep, or you can custom paint to your desire. Utilizes the factory hood main latch and secondary safety latch. Gravana recommends purchasing a windshield washer upgrade, which clip-mounts to your windshield wipers. These nozzles perform more effeciently than the OE hood-mounted nozzles. The best nozzles are from late model Pontiac Grand Am and can be found through your local Pontiac dealer. The Ram-Air style vents allow air to travel from the outside of the car to an area above the airbox in the engine bay.

Carbon Fiber: Our 3K American Made Carbon Fiber Hood. This Carbon Fiber Hood is manufactured with our Carbon-Core process and features a Ultra UV Resistant clear coat. This hood is fully buffed and polished and has an excellent visual finish, the black gel coated areas around the scoop are intended for paint. The hood inner retains all of the factory reinforcements and retains air functionality and drain holes. This high quality hood features 304 stainless woven grills both inside and out. These hoods include fully bonded aluminum hinge plates, which ensure a vibration free fitment. The inner is finished in a black gel coat, which can be left unpainted.
