The effect of Zoom's lightweight aluminum flywheels is like adding 15 hp to the wheels. Your vehicle will reach higher rpms quicker, due to a lighter rotating mass. For turbocharged vehicles, this also helps reduce turbo lag. These Zoom flywheels are CNC-manufactured using 6061-T6 billet aluminum and are SFI-approved for performance applications. Zoom's flywheels can be used with any type of clutch material, including organic, carbon, carbon/KEVLAR®, KEVLAR®, ceramic, metallic, and sintered iron. These flywheels feature a replaceable friction surface insert that can be installed to eliminate having to purchase a new flywheel.
