3dCarbon was founded in 2004 by founding Wings West members Ernie Bunnell and Billy Longfellow.  After dominating the sports compact market, Bunnell and Longfellow sought to expand their horizons to the new domestic muscle car market. So when the new Mustang body design came, it was a clean slate to work with. The first result of this was the 2004 Mustang Boy Racer Kit and accessories. It was a leap not only of business, but of artistic media as well, from the comfort of the booming sport compact market they knew so well, to the new challenges of stylizing domestic muscle cars like the new Ford Mustangs you see here on the website.
